Welcome to apply for the PTP position with us at the Development Unit for Psychotherapy and Psychological Treatment (UPP)!

UPP is part of the Specialist Psychiatry and has a development assignment regarding psychotherapy within the entire Psychiatry Area, Region Örebro County. UPP also runs Internet-based treatment (iKBT) for depression, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder, and offers qualified treatment together with Public Dental Service for extreme dental anxiety. UPP consists of about 10 employees who have extensive experience and competence in psychotherapy. Several psychologists with long experience work at UPP, and the organization conducts psychotherapy individually (LOV therapy) and via the internet, supervision, development work, and education in psychotherapy. Research on psychotherapy is also ongoing at UPP. At UPP, we value a good collaborative climate and show respect for everyone we meet in our work.

The clinical work in this position as a PTP psychologist at UPP will involve assessments and treatment with internet-based CBT for our three current treatments: depression, panic disorder, and social anxiety. We are fully engaged in being able to offer more internet-based treatments in the future, so it is likely that the work will eventually include work with and development of iKBT for more diagnoses. You will also have the opportunity to perform treatment for extreme dental phobia face-to-face and participate in follow-up and development work as well as research. The work takes place both individually, together with the team, and in collaborations both within and outside the region. Supervision is offered to everyone working with internet treatment, and the work also provides the opportunity to work in a creative and development-oriented team that drives psychological treatment forward. The PTP psychologist will participate in the region's PTP program, which includes interesting lectures, seminars, and study visits, and the PTP service is organized according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines.

As we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will, in connection with the recruitment, request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board. Swedish psychologist degree with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with an interest in internet treatment and development work. Experience in internet-based psychological treatment, work on digital platforms, and research interest is an advantage. We will place great importance on personal qualities.
